September Summary

Post by Carbon60 »

Hi everyone,

I thought it might be interesting to present a summary of solar activity during September.
September 2014 Summary.jpg
The most notable event was the X1.6 flare on September 10th; the CME from which arrived at my magnetometers just a couple of days later.

Thanks for looking.

Stu.

Thanks, Mike, Walter, Alexandra.

I've very pleased with the performance of my magnetometer set-up, now that everything has been temperature stabilised. It's interesting to see images of events, such as flares, and then record their geomagnetic effect some days later. It would also be interesting to try to tie these data in with solar radio emission spectra.

Thanks for your interest.

Stu.
