question to SHG owners

still doing my research on old time solar research
I found photo of sun taken at 6374 Fe nine times ionized
in Harvard books on astronomy telescope accesories 1945 page 213

has any one tried this line?

like one I tried - Al line that I found in old W Semerau article

JP,
If you re-read that section (p210-215) you'll see that they are referring to the Coronagraph developed by Lyot. I think the highly ionised Fe is only associated with the corona and not visible in the chromosphere.

Ok and correct

but I did notice a lot of proms in image
figured you may get prom and empty disk
similar to a shot Wah took a while back in helium D3
