caK and caH with 300mm imaging lens

Post by highfnum »

I swap out my 180mm fl with 300mm fl as Merlin66 suggested and noticed a few things
1) more uniform surface
2) easier to focus
3) proms show better

on the down side - image is larger and centering is tight

JJ,
Looking good....
The CaK/CaH proms at 5 O'clock show well.
Well done!

clear improvement!

do you mean that you get this better results only increasing the white tube?
