That makes 3 of us developing 2nd generation devices! I'm hoping to increase the telescope objective focal length substantially to get better views of active regions.
I wonder how Ken's progressing with his new instrument.
Cheers.
Peter.

Guys/ gals,
We've been unfortunately caught up with health issues, which has delayed activities.
The Mainsail Spectroscopic Observatory is nearing completion and the next project is to complete the Littrow SHG.

The new house had an existing 3 x 6mtr workshop.
I divided this in half and removed the roof structure. Replaced it with a roll of roof.

Looks good Vincent. Hope you have a successful first light.
It will have a cover, I hope!
How do you adjust the grating?
Cheers.
Peter.

Don't worry about the cover, it will!
For the grating it is a manual control by rotation.
