A large coronal hole rotating across the face of the Sun has created over recent days some minor geomagnetic storms and beautiful aurora. Below are my magnetometer data tracing out the events as they unfolded and continue to unfold as a G1 storm remains in progress. Look out and look up if you're in an aurora region.

You just need last nights plot to add in, didn't we have a storm last night? (looking at spaceweather). Pity as I had already gone to bed and it was clearish too Great plot Stu

Looking good there, John. All the peaks are there. Maybe a temperature issue around the detector.

Please check out the latest tutorial. Unfortunately it takes a bit more than a foam box and requires active temperature control to remain accurate.
