Hi all can't seem to get PMs sent so just going to ask here
Going to upgrade to a thermostat controlled setup and going with a microclimate eco lite which seems very flexible. I'm wondering what rating of heat mat to go for and any other tips.
Thanks again Carl

Re: Magnetometer heat mat
Hi Carl,
The microclimate evo lite looks like a nice controller.
I went with a 12W heater mat (11" x 11") which I fastened to a sheet of glass with tape as this fitted the internal dimensions of the 'coolbox'. Something close to this spec will be fine (I see that there is a 10" x 12" 13W mat available to work with this controller- just check that it will fit inside your coolbox).
FYI, I purchased mine from:

Here's the setup:
Tip: I used suitable adhesive to bond the thermal sensor to the reverse side of the glass sheet, close to the top edge, as I found the little suction cup intended to retain it to be unreliable.
Once up and settled to thermal equilibrium (after a few days) you should see an improvement in the data.
Stu.

Re: Magnetometer heat mat
Thanks Stuart that's what i was after. I suspected it was the 11 x 11. Yes the microclimate looks perfect for the job it has pulse setting as well a a data graph which is handy.
I will update when i get everything put together.
Cheers Carl
