Nice to see you back in action, Vincent. I hope to get my instrument running soon.
Good HeD3 capture. You may be able to reduce the image noise in this way: When you subtract the continuum image, scale it down in intensity to 90% or so before subtraction. I use ImageJ "Image > Process > Math > Multiply". You will get a trade-off between HeD3 feature contrast and noise. Experimentation required!
