Greetings Everyone.
I wanted to do some house cleaning before the beginning of 2018 and finish processing some spectroheliograms that have been, more or less, lying dormant since June. Here are images at four more wavelengths to accompany my 20Jun2017 hydrogen results in a previous thread.
Some noteable features:
CN Band (3883.3A): Photospheric view. Faculae are visible with good contrast.
CaK3 (3933.7A): View of the calcium chromosphere at K line centre. The chromospheric network is obvious. Filaments are clearly visible and there's a lot of activity on the limb. Note the detaching prom at the active region on the eastern limb along with a series of hedgerow proms. There's also a dim arch prom on the NW part of the limb.
HeD3 (5875.6A): Filaments are clearly visible in the "helium chromosphere". There is enhanced helium absorption in all active regions. Prominences and the bright helium limb are visible.
NaD2 (5890.0A): Photospheric view. Faculae are visible. Mottling across the disk is probably associated with supergranulation.
Hopefully next year is more productive, although the Sun will probably be quieter.
Happy New Year.
Peter.

A nice bit of clearing, Peter. Interesting comparisons.
Happy 2018.

Fantastic set Peter! My favourite is the CaK.
