Another new member - Also ready for PST modding

Post by dcnikon »

Hi all, After a few years with a lunt 50hfa on a 500mm achromat(not superb) and using it on a 130mm F9 Vixen ED(a very rare one) very successfully I am starting my next project...

A pst stage2 mod using a 160mm baader D-erf - I want to try it on the ED130 that I will need to stop down to get an F10 beam. I would also like to have a go at using the full opening of this filter in front of my excellent C14 ... I have seen examples done by a frenchmen using the same Erf but with a different filter at the back, a bit like an Ion.

Very happy that the new forum is online!

Below some examples ...

I live in Belgium, we know the sun exists behind the clouds, I personally have seen it a few times.

Kind Regards
Dirk

Thanks for the kind welcome words - the D-erf is in transit at the moment!

The complete scope should be ready soon, I seem to be able to place the Ethalon at a slight bit over -20cm from the focal point without shortening the main tube.

Kind Regards
Dirk
