Hi guys. I've had to create a new username as my old one is borked after the site upgrade
Anyway, here's a handy device for clocking the front Etalon in a DS setup (Lunt 60mm)
It's not cheap for what it is, but is works brilliantly.

I found that when clocking the front Etalon is loose on the threads which affects the views. This completely removes all slop and hold the DS Etalon perfectly.

Hey Bill! Sorry about that. actually phpBB was free. It was the one thing that I hired someone else to do, in order to not take any chances with our awesome users, at great cost-transfer over posts and users accounts-that was all snafu...
The company had no interest or concern for our hobby like we do and this was a small potatoes job to them and unimportant.
Some accounts were lost , specifically those that hadn't posted more than 10 times in the last year, but all posts and attachments came over.

Hi Stephen
now I'm very sure. Some of my comments get lost. First I thought that was a question of too much wine , but in the morning ;-). Where has it gone and why ?

Just to be sure before sending the money, are you talking specifically about stacked Lunt LS60FHas?_Zakalwe wrote:here's a handy device for clocking the front Etalon in a DS setup (Lunt 60mm)
When ordering a set of those filters I asked about needing something like what you describe and was told it would be ok to use but not really necessary. However stabilizing the connection after adjusting the filter alignment sounds good to me.

I use it on my Lunt L60, to mount a L50F front Etalon. You definitely need to rotate the front Etalon to find the best position for it IMHOSunwatcher wrote:Just to be sure before sending the money, are you talking specifically about stacked Lunt LS60FHas?_Zakalwe wrote:here's a handy device for clocking the front Etalon in a DS setup (Lunt 60mm)
