modification helioscope Scopium in Ha

Hello, we are currently testing a Scopium helioscope whose prism Ha was treated by the MCM company in France. This material will be presented to the ROS 2015 (dating Solar Observers) Serbannes on 20 and 21 June Meanwhile some pictures of this lens here: http://www.astrosurf.com/jiaifer/pagescopiummod.htm

thanks for sharing. The Scopium has another advantage, it does not need as much in travel as a herschel wedge

Only stardust in the wind, some fine and some less fine scopes, filters and adapters as well. Switzerland 47 N, 9 E, in the heart of EUROPE :)

from 7 am - 7 pm http://www.nanosys.ch

That's very interesting. It looks that it could be used as a secondary mirror on a Newton too with an adapted holder. Do you think that the coating will tend to age?

I do not master the English language is an automatic translation ...
For the behavior in time of the deposit, we believe it holds very well. It's a bit the same as the deposit on SC Ayrilab proposed by the company.
Currently operating with an FP PST is not very good, there is a visible reflection of the objective of the telescope used.
The treatment can be done on a secondary Newton, tests are also underway.
