Recover a tiny BF, it's possible if ?
I was curious to know if someone has got to try, a small BF 5mm - 6mm placed directly on the chip of the camera ? i have a BF-600 from Lunt that I would like to use and, a LU075M camera with chip 5,79 mm 4,89 mm, this would be covered entirely by the BF600 which is 6mm and avoid vignetting in the system but.....this will work ?

Yes, that will work.

Thanks Mark, as always, always ready to clarify ideas,
now I have to find a way to extract, without damage, the BF from diagonal, I would keep it reversible for use with Lunt35.
if you have any link that would help me, I appreciate it

take a close up picture of it so we can see what we're working with...

was easier than I thought, this is the BF and the Lumenera LU075M, with bf inserted and ready for testing on the sun. I expect to see some speckle, due to dust, but I will solve this if the test will be positive.

Interesting idea, hope it works out. How is the BF5 held
in place on the chip? Will Newton's Rings be an issue ?
Best wishes,
David

Re: Recover a tiny BF, it's possible if ?
do not consider how current is placed BF, is unsafe for the camera chip and has too many distortions in the image, Newton rings included, with a good flat I solved (see image) but I want to make the system more stable, maybe a Barrel that is drawn into the 1.25 adapter down to the camera chip.

Coronado works very accuracy, the BF of Lunt is irregular and this makes a little more difficult to manage it in front of a sensor. A dear friend turner is now working on a barrel in which the BF will be inserted and screwed in the C-Mout thread of 640 pixels camera, at the same time, we are thinking on a system that can make it tilting in order to correct an eventual effect of Newtons rings
