Single-truss 12" Newtonian for an EQ mount

Post by GreatAttractor »

I'd like to present my new ATM telescope, which has just had its successful first light.

It weighs less than 13 kg, HEQ5 handles it just fine (at least with no wind, as last night). I built it primarily for planetary work, but who knows, perhaps I'll add an UTA to mount the solar film too.

More pics, details and first use impressions can be found here.
