USING BINOVIEWERS

Hi all,I am about to purchase a used coronado solarmax 40mm scope with a BF 5 filter and I have read that binoviewers might be a bit difficult to reach focus.So basically, I would like to know, will I get a decent view or will binoviewers actually work with a BF 5 filter at all?
Will using an O.C.A or barlows help with focusing the binoviewers .Would like to hear from anyone who uses Binoviewers with their solar scopes.Thanks Nick.
