Buying modified solar scopes??

Post by Boso36 »

Hi, I have not had the time or energy to go through all the posts here, but was very impressed by Great Attractor 90mm modification to Lunt LS50THa.

viewtopic.php?f=9&t=19238

Does anyone know if a commercial or otherwise would produce such scopes and sell them ?

Thank you.

Magnus

There was an upgrade to the PST to give 60mm aperture. No longer Available.
I think there is an unwillingness to mod solar scopes on a commercial basis.
Quality, performance and safety issues.

I see, that is something I will need to consider very seriously.
