Sorry guys, I'm confused. In the first pic, is the powermate connected to the etalon. The last pic looks like the powermate and extender have been switched round.
Does the nosepeice on the powermate unscrew so that it can slide onto the etalon rear adapter. I still can't see how it connects.

Quite an arrangement you have there.....
As you probably already know some of the x2 Balow type PST mods have not always been successful. Unfortunately, unless you remove/ replace (A la Mark T.)the front barlow element from the PST etalon assembly, the "design" answer is to position it at -200mm inside the focus. Anything other is a compromise.....
You can verify the final set-up by measuring the distance from the etalon to the final CCD focus...this must again be 200mm....
