My only two Pictures in 2015
Hello,
I am only a visible H-Alpha-User,
Sometimes i make some Pictures with a TIS DMK-31 or a Lumix G3 DSLR without IR-Blockingfilter.
At the 02./03.08. 2015 i capture some Videofiles with the DMK with my biggest H-Alpha-Setup.
I capture this Frames in the Blue-Wing of the H-Alphaline minus 0,07nm with f=30, 4800mm.
The Sun was so large on my Laptop Monitor that at first i found no Sunspot....
They show you the AR2394 at 02.08. and AR2393 at 03.08.2015.
The Seeing at the 02.08. AR2394 was not so good, at 03.08. it was much better.
This are the best Pictures i ever made....and Wolfgang Lille here in Germany was so enthusiastic, and post them on his Internetsite....wouw.

The orange square area is not important, a friend send me this picture to identify the ARs and at first we think that i photograph the little Spot in this Area.
But later we identify the correct ARs.
sunny Greeting
Achim

Re: My only two Pictures in 2015
Nice images! I like the series of the images where you scanned the sun from -0,7A to + 0,7A
BTW As I see on the mr Lille website, your scope is:
ED 178mm refractor, aperture ratio 1: 8, dimmed with a C-ERF to 150 mm opening, 1: 3 telecentric, Lille 50/50 H-alpha system, DMK 31st
1. Do you use a 150mm ERF filter inside the telescope and so, your scope works at full 178mm aperture or do you use only 150mm aperture
installing the filter in a front of the objective?
2. What is the 50/50 Lille system?
3. What is ED 178mm refractor brand name?
On a final note - your images are nice and here is a right place to show them to your sunny funs colleagues. I hope that these
images will not be your last ones here.
Valery.

Re: My only two Pictures in 2015
Thanks for the Compliments,
But the Band-pass Serie is not from me.
Jozef from Switzerland send me this Example-Picture, he is also here in the forum.
Hello Jozef.... I am glad to be here.
Hi Valery,
Its an older Meade ED178 f=9, a fantastic scope, with an 160mm W.Lille Front-C-ERF, and an Lille military 3x Telezentrik, f30 (4800mm).
The Lille 50/50-System is an original Solarscope 50mm Etalon and a W.Lille 50mm Blockingfilter, the largest one, i ever seen.
Wolfgang Lille is a One-Man Factory like Oliver Smie and he build individual H-Alpha-Telescopes and Accessories, Etalons and Blockingfilters, Coronograph, C-ERF......ect.
http://sonnenfernrohr.de/produkte-fuer- ... a-systeme/
Wolfgang is an Autodidact and a professional Expert in Optics and H-Alpha.
Very interesting is this H-Alpha-Report about FWHM and Resolution, on his site, at the moment the documentation is available only in in German, an English version is planned.
http://sonnenfernrohr.de/2014/01/groess ... ernrohren/
Because watching H-Alpha is a Different to watching Nightsky !
In Nightsky a larger Aperture show you more Resolution and Details, not so in H-Alpha !
In H-Alpha you can see in an 40mm or an 230mm Scope the same Details, Filamets and Prominences.
The larger Scope show you only more Resolution !
Its Products are not the cheapest, but they are most better than others, like C....and L...
Sorry, my english is bad, often i have to correct my words...i need Google for translating, sometimes.....
sunny Greetings

Lovely images Achim. I especially found the sequence instructive, because I have been struggling to find center band with my filter that needs factory calibration.
