FWIW I got everything setup in preparation for any last blast of excitement from AR2565-67....but it looks like I'm in the wrong hemisphere;-)

WOW ...how many friends here...
I honestly was in no mood for taking any photos that day since the weather on the island was really hot and really windy (something common here for this time of year). Factors that don't favor a good result.
However something pushed me to get to the observatory and watch the sun. At that moment the second explosion was under way. I was really extremely lucky. I wish similar luck to all of you.
