Full disk Sun 01-01-2018

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

The year starts good and managed to get nice movies and this time I pushed it a bit to the limits because I saw with the SSM that the seeing was good.

As usual for full size open in a new tab or window. Thanks.

First mosaic @ 900mm focal length using 9 images.

Thank You Brian. Yes and I found out that there was a fried chip in my DIY SSM and so tomorrow I have to repair it or build a new one. A cleaner one

Excellent disks Rainer, the sun is too low for me to see at the moment - trees and roof tops. I lol forward to next month when our star becomes easier to observe for me.

Hi,

Thanks everybody and yesterday it looked like I would not be able to do anything and OH wonder from about Noon until Sunset I had a very nice clean Sky with very very little and very thin clouds passing by.
