What!!!

Post by denababy »

Here I sit broken hearted all set up and the clouds never parted.
Here in not so sunny Leicester UK the sky was quite clear this morning so I waited until the Sun was a bit higher in the sky before I set up but as I was doing it the clouds rolled in and no break. My new camera arrived yesterday but as yet I have not had a chance to try it out. I was hoping my new book ‘new eyes on the sun’ was going to arrive today but no. All in all today has been quite a let down.

That sounds like Mr. Murphy is visiting
Best wishes and good luck,

I hear ya.

I live in northern Michigan, where it's overcast about 90% of the time from Sept to May. I have had exactly one decent look at the Sun since October.

It sucks when you get a new toy and can't go out and play with it. Hang in there and keep checking in here for those gorgeous shots from people who live where the Sun and sky are more cooperative

Yup, same here in the West Midlands. I'm awaiting delivery of a new scope so will be cloudy for months still :D
