Thanks a a guys
I will love the TEC140 for sure
A quick question to Alexandra. The FT focuser has a black plastic piece near the focus. Is this going to be a problem when imaging the sun?

The active region came out really well, particularly sharp in CaK.

Re: Today's SUN (20180601) + NEW scope
Pedro, it depends on how old your TEC140 is. From my model upwards the end has a metal collet ring so there is no problem using a solar wedge. Pre that date folks used to remove the plastic one and replace with a metal one if they were to solar image. The plastic is OK as long as you don't let the sun sit at an angle through the wedge to burn the plastic. I have never had a problem with my version imaging for hours, but then you should never leave it unattended anyway and when imaging you are dead centre, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks Alexandra for your reply
I have the metal ring for the feathertouch focuser but it has to be machined to fit.
