24Aug19 - Some fibrils with C11
We have a combination of clouds and haze (fires in plantations in Indonesia) over the last few weeks. Today, the haze situation was in the moderate band (60+ PSI). Clouds limited the imaging session to few minute window.
This is the setup:
C11 fitted with a full-aperture ARIES D-ERF with a stage 2 PST Mod etalon + Coronado BF 10 + x2 barlow + Basler Ace ac1920-155um monochrome camera
We have a spotless sun this morning. These are 2 of the better images taken before 10 am local time (right click to see full resolution image):
I believe this setup will produce better images with cooperating seeing condition.

Even if there is no big activity now, I find these little active regions interesting.
They look good and the sun "background" looks good also.

Thanks Mark, Alex, Christian,Alexandra and Stu for your kind comments.
Alexandra, looking forward to see your images. All the best!!
I have only 3 reasonable images from 16 video captures. On better days, I can up to 50% success rate. How is your experience?

Thanks Brian and Franco.
Brian - I will be bringing this portable setup to a reservoir, hopefully will have better seeing condition there.

That looks a lovely site to image, I can imagine the seeing will be better... Look forward to the results.

Thanks Eric and Valery. We are waiting for the haze (plantation fires in Indonesia) and clouds to go away
