Sun and sea

Post by Montana »

I really do miss Derek's images of the Sun and the sea. Today we had some sunshine, it was a very cold with a nippy northerly wind but it was so lovely to breathe the sea air and walk the beach. We went to our nearest beach at Crosby and enjoyed the birds, the sea and also the sculptures. So I hope you enjoy them and Derek too if you are still out there. There seemed to be a weak solar halo today.

You can see Liverpool and the docks on the left, across the Mersey to the right is where I was born so I felt quite at home today :)

Lovely scenery you captured there, Alexandra. The cloudy haze in combination with the monochrome image adds a bit of mystery to the whole.

Thanks guys :) terrible weather here today, thick freezing fog and getting worse, only good for wrapping in a rug all afternoon.

Lovely images, Alexandra. Nice to get out for a breath of fresh air.

Same weather as yours here today. No chance of solar imaging.

Hi Alexandra,

Very nice images. At first sight I wondered why is that Human just standing there until I read about him.

Thanks for the kind words :)
Rainer, if you did just stand there in the sea you would get hypothermia very quickly

Thanks, Alexandra, for such a nice series of the sea landscape images. I always like the sea where I do live (Black Sea).

And I too very much miss Derek's sea pictures.
