The Sun - 2nd June 2020
Woke to cloud this morning Fortunately it was that thin cirrus stuff that I could work either around / through. Lots going on still, although the spots / pores seem to have vanished there's still lots of prominence activity.
Start off with the Ca-K FD's. Couldn't get it to stitch initially but a little persistence and I managed to get ICE to do it properly!
Some nice looking prominences
In white light I managed to grab some more granulation although I forgot yo grab a flat so there is a bit of a gradient.
And finally the AR in white light and Ca-K

Fine images, with many proms details. Shouldn't they be flipped vertically ?

He just has the North pole at the bottom and the tilting Sun graph is therefore correct. Maybe he lives down under ?krakatoa1883 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 11:31 am Fine images, with many proms details. Shouldn't they be flipped vertically ?
Yes, it does confuse a bit.

Very nice, Dave. I always admire your Ca II K proms. Lovely WL images too.

David,
Those pores can appear and disappear quite quickly. I managed a very tiny single pore in the late morning hours.
Mark,
I eagerly await your processed images.

Thanks all for your kind comments.
Yes, I need to remember to flip the disk so it is the "right" way up in future.rsfoto wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 4:59 pmHe just has the North pole at the bottom and the tilting Sun graph is therefore correct.
