Most of what we grow here is apples. We have a lot of orchards in the area. Behind that are grape vineyards for wine and peach orchards. But Apples dominate
You appear to live in a more populated area than I do. Is it so bright there that the milky way is invisible or difficult?

Yes, about 1'345.000 people and one house at the other and not so spread as your area. Milky way very difficult to see. Bortle scale 5 to 6 nearer to 6

Re: Video of 129 days out of 193 possible
Rainer,
I can still see the milky way decently from my home but light pollution is increasing and is starting to wash it out a bit. My dad who lives further out in the country ( near Lowndesville SC ) still has really nice dark skies. Clay, my friend in Rock Hill has the same issue you do. Even the brightest parts of the milky way is invisible on all but the most transparent nights. It makes a lot of sense concentrating on solar with such bright nighttime skies.

Excellent work Rainer!
Though you do seem to have far more than your fair share of sunshine.
Spreading some of your "extra" sunshine around would be much appreciated by other forum members.

Nice to see the sun change from day to day - and there are changes to observe, even in these low activity times! Rainer, you are really blessed with weather conditions that allow this kind of consistency!

Re: Video of 125 days out of 193 possible
The main thing I learned from that is that you have quite a few sunny days over there
In all seriousness; nicely put together video, Rainer.
