During this quiet-spell I will post here - the recent January STEREO images which might show the revolving Sun and what it is showing on the eastern-side approaching that limb.
Currently though there is nothing much that is likely to enthuse us - too much, so hopefully the proms and other surface-detail do continue to allow you to see/image such..
CLEAR SKIES
Terry

Re: TODAY'S STEREO IMAGE
Thanks for posting Terry. Thought yesterday that brief burst of activity over the south east limb was quickly diminishing. Shame as looks like there will be clear skies for many in the UK tomorrow - still, a couple of nice filaments to enjoy

Re: TODAY'S STEREO IMAGE
Yes Mark - that is true, although I am looking closely at the area near the S.E.Limb where that older decaying AR came into view and where SDO is showing a couple of small brighter regions that might form something of interest, so what that space...
Cheers

Re: TODAY'S STEREO IMAGE
There is a possibility that a new Sun-spot is emerging from the weak AR in the S.E.Limb - near that limb.
Otherwise still quiet.
