Hi:
Today started nice it was clear and sunny, but the neighbor tree was on the way, so had to wait and when the Sun was high enough to clear the tree, then clouds came with as lot of wind, so had to keep waiting for small gaps to take some shots.
Here is the result and thanks for looking.
Have a nice Sunday.
Eric.

Mighty fine shots Eric, especially given those tempestuous clouds.

Excellent! what is interesting is that the prominence seems to be much more prominent in CaK than H-alpha, that is quite unusual, obviously quite energic

Excellent image Eric...well done!!!
You CaK setup really performs on the proms...I can only get them on occasion with my Lunt filter.

Re: Sol from the 9th of January 2021.
Alexandra, Mark, Stu, Brian and Terry, thanks for the feedback.
Alexandra and Brian, concerning the CaK shots, well what I do is to overexpose the prominence recording using a low Gamma, then after aligning and stacking 25% to 30% of the best recordings from a 600 frame video, I use the Lazzo tool to separate the protuberances so to get the background black, then with the lazzo tool I use levels over each protuberance so to get the backgound leveled, finally I make a composite with the surface image and keep processing to get the final image.
You can see the settings I use from the 2 photos taken of the recordings using Lucam-Recorder, hope it helps.
Best regards to all and let keep us safe.
Eric.
