HA and CAK views of AR2810 (new image added 24Mar)

Post by yltansg »

20 Mar - I have to make a tough decision this morning.

The day started with lots of clouds - it was good for cycling. With the bike mounted, I was ready to go on the road.
Image

Then the thick clouds were replaced with thin ones and the Sun got my devotion this morning:

Some images of AR2810 taken with a C11 fitted with ARIES D-ERF:

Terrific work Alfred, you always work magic with your C11 :bow :hamster: I hope some good spring weather will arrive for me to get going again.

Hi Alexandra,

Credit must be given to the C11, filters, camera and software tools. I did very basic processing. Looking forward to better weather for all.

Great h-a hi-res, Alfred!
Ca with C11 is a really difficult task, needs an ideal seeing and collimation indeed.
Clear skies!

Hi Leo,

Thank you for your kind comment. Under similar seeing, I tend to get "better" HA images than CAK images using my C11.

Thanks, James. I had a very special mission after the imaging session - lunch with my wife. I cycled the next day, when the clouds covered the sky.
