Sun FD in H-Alpha 24th of March 2021
Yesterday was mostly scattered clouds, but in the afternoon it cleared enough for a quick imaging session - still through some high cirrus-clouds though.
Full size version
Equipment used for this image was a Takahashi Sky-90 II with SolarMax 90 and BF15 filter, Baader 35nm H-Alpha filter, 2x Cemax Barlow and ASI ZWO 1600MM PRO camera. Everything mounted on a Paramount ME mount.
Stack of the best 60% (400of 673) images captured with an exposure time of 2.3ms, gain 0, HighSpeed=On and 22fps. Stacking done in Autostakkert 3, sharpening in AstraImage and contrast stretching in Adobe PhotoShop.
Best regards,
Arne

Superb full disc the disc looks very similar to yesterday when I had a peep, so not much changed overnight.

Re: Sun FD in H-Alpha 24th of March 2021
Thank you all for your kind comments!
The resulting image turned out better than I expected considering the amount of cirrus.
Best regards,
Arne
