7 Jan AR 1944 Looks like Australia.

Post by solar »

Hi everyone,
Late home again but had a bit clearer run with seeing 5/10 at 1pm. (0300UTC)
The AR looks just like a map of Australia.
I tried to process these a bit different to see if I could get some detail in the black hole so to speak. Not to sure I managed it Chris, sorry.
I also tried getting in a bit closer but was hampered by seeing.
I have other data for later maybe but in the meantime I will post these.
Tomorrow I am away all day. :(

 it does look like Australia, perhaps because the Sun loves you guys so much :) and it is Stephen's great 2014 Oz trip and the Sun is celebrating

These are superb, they keep on just getting better and better :hamster:

Exceptional work Ralph...superb details across all bands

I'd like to take advantage of the sun today, but a windchill of -30C and blowing snow pretty much kills that plan...the dome would be full of snow in no time  I will have to enjoy everyone's posts :thanx:
