Thanks everyone for your comments and feedback....much appreciated. As the day progressed after the end of the eclipse, the cloud cover got thicker but had a bit of break in the west at su set. The sunset was specular and seemed to linger for a long time. Thus is one of the shots I got on the cell p...

Hi all... Last day before the eclipse hete in Mazatlan and the cloud we had cleared out in time to catch the sunset over the ocean. Thanks for the info Rainer. We are just north of the city of Mazatlan, roughly 20 miles north of the centre line but the difference will be minimal. Regarding the glare, I'm not sure of the cause this time.
I will have to take it all apart and check for sources. I though I had a bit of a light leak but once fixed it still had a lot of glare, so back to the drawing board.
