Solar Eclipse Casper Mountain Wyoming.
Well this was the best of 4 eclipses I have witnessed. Amazing temperature drop at 2500m (8,130 ft) and the extra altitude gave a feeling of excellent clarity for viewing the corona. I am still on our long road trip through the US and Canada and don't have the gear and software to process my RAW's. ...

Hi Susan I have used LuSol and it works fairly well however I don't have an Orion StarShoot. The ASCOM driver should be getting picked up in LuSol. If you can't see it but you can see it and connect to it in other software, then something is not right with LuSol. I guess you have uninstalled and ins...

Nicely done Valery, something only that big aperture would allow you to achieve in the conditions. It is somewhat counter intuitive using the larger aperture but this aperture allows you to achieve the faster frame rate and extra length of movie to gather more samples. I have never been bothered by ...

Nicely done. I like the interpretation of your data by your processing that focuses on the plasma "flows". Repeated use of sharpening then smoothing filters delivers a nice liquid like feel. Like you say not to all people tastes but just another interesting way to look at the data.
