Re: Help! Proper judgement asked from the pro's :)

I had the 75mm filter sent back to the US last summer and they concluded it was decontacted. They repaired it and today I was able to test it in double stack mode on my Lunt. I'm very happy with the result. Shown are an image with just my Lunt60 and one with the Lunt60 with the 75mm etalon in double...

This image I took 2 weeks ago, but didn't have time to post yet. I really liked the fantastic prom that floated above the solar disk... Made with my Lunt 60, powermate 2,5x and ASI174mm. For the first time I used a bit of tilt to get rid of Newton rings I always hassle with and it worked great. So t...

Beautiful shot! You might try reducing the time between frames on your animation to see if that shows movement better, I find sometimes that is the only way to tell that something is actually happening! I had 1 minute intervals. There was some motion in the prom but the surface was very calm. Some ...

I don't know the exact color to be honest. Just copied it from an earlier picture that I made. I always use content aware filling for the background layer, so there comes a small gradient from. I like that more than a single color :)
