If you zoom in on the image on the LHS, you’ll see a double star. They are Zeta Piscium A & B. They are magnitude +5.2 and +6.4 respectively.

Yup, it has shades of Europe 1999 all over it.
Looks like most of Mexico and US will be cloudy, except for perhaps NE US / E Canada.

Good stuff Brian. Looks good. One item that's on my mind is that from Dallas, totality will occur just past the meridian. Az = 185deg at start of totality. I think this may require a meridian flip of an equatorial mount. So, I might just go with an alt-az setup. Also, the Sun/Moon altitude is 64deg,...

A little over sampling is a good thing, as you said, to capture the data during those moments of good seeing.
The only downside of excessive over sampling is the large data files, as the camera is recording data it can never use.
