what sort of camera and white light filter are you using?
camera choice is very important and should be a high frame rate monochrome astronomy camera for the best sharpness and resolution.

we would need to know exactly what devices are in your imaging train to give you the best advice.

Pretty astounding that we could see any Northern lights from almost the tropics but here is about 8 hours of them from last night in the GA Marsh.
3 hurricanes and 2 Northern Lights evenings so far since we moved here....:)

OK, the thank you mod is no longer supported and the author has not provided any updates so I’m sure that has something to do with the error you’re getting. I’m not sure what you mean about the server error but like Mark said, copying and pasting occurs on your computer only and has nothing to do with our forum server.

there were several problems getting onto the site today because our SSL certificate mysteriously ran out even though it was set to auto renew…

Anyway, I purchased a new certificate and it took a little time to get everything back to normal but the forum should be working good now.

double stacking should have no effect on your ability to focus. Based on that image, you are having a definite problem with the 2nd etalon. Take the etalon off and look through it at a fluorescent light. You should have clear concentric circles. It almost looks like there’s some sort of oil or subst...

we are still using our cloudflare security provider in the denial of service attack mode so you should still be getting a page to verify you are a legit user before you are allowed to login. If this is causing any undue issues, please let me know. We are still getting about 20 million requests a day...

short answer-no, not without significantly modifying the LS80 and making the LS35 unusable afterwards.
A doublestacking etalon made for the LS80 would be the way to go.
