As I work, I find that the sun only shines from Monday-Friday, so I guess when you retire the Sun won't shine at all ;)

Well, I will try to find a pseudo job from Monday to Sunday and fool the Sun

Hi Eric... I don't see the Lumenera cameras listed on the Firecapture support list. I still have several Lumenera cameras and wind up using Lucam to control them, but Heiko isn't doing any updates that I am aware of. Hi Franco,

Very nice images. Now we know why it is called Solar Minimum  but reading some news it looks like it will not last that long as it did before this Solar cycle. Hopefully it is true ... but the Sun always has surprises

Re: Tamitha Skov mini course

Hi Franco, Just looked at the full video. Very intresting. The way she presented it requires already a bit of acknowledge of the Sun. For a 100% newcomer a bit difficult to understand. A little bit chaotic for my taste but even so I got some new info I did not know about. She made a tiny mistake by ...

Good evening, thank you for your appreciations. An edition in English is in preparation. Sincerely, Jef, coauthor Hi, Very Good. As soon it is out in English I will order one. Perhaps shipping gets cheaper when Eric Roel and me order at the same time and one shipment is done to Mexico or perhaps US...

Re: SunSpots 2718 & 2719, Convection Cells, Prominences, Disc Mosaic | Aug 18th 2018

Probably not official; I haven't seen anything truly designate it yet. I may have jumped the gun, so to speak. But it has a visible umbra, unlike 2718 which has decayed already. This new AR is still active, flaring a bit, hopefully it will be designated, I don't think it's a previous AR nor relativ...

Re: Full DIsk from 20180815

Absolutely stunning in full res :bow :bow Certainly that new AR and big fluffy worm filament should be easily seen in the Quantum. You need to find the area and gradually turn up/down the heat until you start to see improved surface contrast. It takes a long time to do this but worth the time. Once...
