Moon @29.8% illumination

Hi, After receiving my new Poseidon-M Pro from Player One, yesterday night I had a more or less clear sky and so I made a basic test shooting the Moon also for finding the focus point. Telescope ASKAR 103APO @560mm focal length using the ASKAR 0.8X reducer. Camera has a 7x36mm filter wheel and all f...

Re: Tilt tuned front etalons: The good and the...?

Right, maybe it is useful also to write my perception on ''turns''. In this test with each turn I mean that the tuning wheel is turned into one direction, by using your thumb from right to left if I recall correctly. So basically the turning that can be achieved in one ''movement'' by your thumb. P...

Interesting capabilities of this little thing but unfortunately in 99% of the DSO Seestar images I ahve seen the stars all look like flat disks. Re: Tilt tuned front etalons: The good and the...?

Appreciate your opinion Rainer. All images are single stack images, so no pressure tuner but just the given front etalon (the unit 1 or 2) and BF on a 60mm refractor. Do you mean that even the no tilt image of unit 1 is not exactly on band? If so, I wonder how it could be brought on band as applyin...

Re: Tilt tuned front etalons: The good and the...?

Hi, Interesting work. I assume you are putting a tilt etalon on top of a pressure tuned etalon? Correct? Well I have looked at all you images but unfortunately you are not in band yet. There is still a tiny bit to adjust in order to get into band. It would be good to see some imsges of the pressure ...
