Re: SolarQuest review

Yes Mark, It tracks fine with the sensor covered. However the mount has to find the sun ate least once to star tracking

It does a decent job even with the sensor covered

Sim mas não é a dovetail em forma de L que é mais adequada para usar com a SolarQuest

Este é o modelo que eu uso

Re: Today's SUN (20181013) | imaged through high clouds

I used a normal dovetail. Since the PST has a fixed eyepiece you can use the L-shaped dovetail.

Re: SolarQuest review

It tracks Ok Mark It helps to cover the solar sensor if it is very cloudy. To track the Sun the mount has to detect our star at least once. Here are a a few images of my grab and go solar scopes to use with the SolarQuest mount 1- FS60C, Coronado SM60, Coronado BF10, Lunt Zoom eyepiece 2- Baader Var...

Thanks guys

Everything is OK, the hurricane was the biggest since 1842. Rain and strong winds during the night

Derek: SolarQuest is a great little mount for outreach and solar observation, it works like a charm
