The Celestron Capture software iCap only saves as AVI and I have had the best captures with this software. Perhaps I need to learn the sniggy details of FireCapture or AstroCap.
I did download the SerPlayer software for future endeavors.

I was pleased with my image of the sun but the ISS looks a bit odd. I think it may have been atmospheric distortion due to high winds at the surface and aloft.

I’ve managed to capture 3 solar and 1 lunar transit in the past year.
Your zoomed in shot is really nice.
Was it the clouds that caused your hiccup or just an anomaly?
I think it adds character to the image.

I finally had clear skies after quite a bit of fall gloom. I was finally able to image using a new to me used Celestron CGEM Mount and my Lunt 60mm scope.
