Basler FireCapture settings?

I have a Basler AC1920-155 mono. I have tried several different gamma settings in FC but have not been pleased with outcomes. What gamma settings are people using in FC? I tried to uncheck gamma but it didn't appear to change anything.

Thanks

Basler Camera assistance

I have a Basler acA1920-155 mono. It works with their capture software (pylon). I cant get Genika or firecaputure to recognize the camera. I downloaded the pylon software suite. Is there a driver I need to download? I contacted the company but didn't get an answer that was helpful.

IMX 183M for Ca and WL imaging?

I know there are reported issues with Ha (grid pattern). Has anyone used the 183 for Calcium, WL imaging? Its a sensitive sensor and may be a decent choice for FD imaging (100/900 ED)

3_31 CaK (2nd image)

My second attempt to use the Lunt CaK 1800. Seeing was not good (2/5). Used my ES102 APO at F7 and ASI714M. Neither are optimal for Ca imaging but its what I currently own. When I get back from NEAF, I will try masking to F10. Workflow AS3! Stacked 100 out of 3000 Processed in Pixinsight Tried decon...

Re: Observatory for solar imaging

Heya, I use a ROR. I find that early morning (100% humidity in the morning and night here in Florida), I have to drape mylar material over the wall facing the sun (930am) due to evaporation sending plumes and currents from the condensated water droplets until it's completely dry (once the evaporati...

Observatory for solar imaging

One of 2019 goals will be to build an observatory. Is anyone using a dome for solar imaging? I suspect there could be issues with local seeing until the building temperature reaches equilibrium with exterior temp. I was thinking of adding an exhaust fan to help pull air out of the building. The othe...
