Hi, I’ve now got a Quark chromosphere, I’ve been watching a few YouTube videos and it is suggested that to reduce heat onto the diagonal it’s best to fit a filter but which one? Anyone advise please.

Hi thanks for the reply. It is the chart within the window that disappears but the window with the line is still there and as I move the line with the various points, nothing happens. I have tried saving with all the extensions I.e tiff, jpeg etc.

Hi everyone thanks for your replies. I have downloaded Autostakkert 3 and IMPPG. Until I image the Sun I will hold off on Firecapture as I have Sharpcap. What would FC offer over Sharpcap.

What do you think on Affinity Photo? That, after watching a few videos, seems to be solely for Solar work! Would I be better off using AP instead of Pixinsight for Solar? I am going to download Autostkkert and IMPPG.

Hi, again, I have the shorter t2 clamp and that is the one I was using. I am contemplating purchasing a Daystar solar scout 60ss and hopefully the Grasshopper will work with that, if not I will try my zwo 120 mm and see if that works. I will keep you posted.

I have the same scope but I use a zwo asi 120 mm that I screw directly onto the blocking filter after taking off the adapter, you then need to draw the blocking filter out by about 6-8 mm or 1/4 inch in old money. Which capture software do you use?
