I did wonder what was going on.
Able to access the Forum through my WIn PC and Firefox; but not my Android tablet using Opera - that one keeps cycling endlessly through the verification process without success.

Thanks Mark. Alternatively find an easy(ish) way to apply a pseudo flat - attempts following some examples elsewhere haven't worked for me (though they were PS and not Affinity).

The Solar Mosaic tool in SC has an auto exposure option, I'll experiment with that option too, rather than allowing it to use my dialled in figures - though on reflection I think most of the errors in the Mosaic are in the stitching.

Hopefully the weather forecast for the weekend, to come, is good!

@stu I think the Quark is reasonably uniform - certainly individual segments appear reasonably flat in tone. It would be difficult if not impossible to take a flat prior to each capture whilst using the Sharpcap Mosaic tool - though I take your point. It took about 6 minutes to capture all the frame...

William Optics 102GT masked to 90, Quark and PlayerOne Apollo M Max - so at critical sampling f33, or thereabouts.

Main concern is the 6 blotches showing on the disc - Proms are a little faint or non existent due to difficulty in removing glare! Interesting exercise. I used to use a spotter scope to spot where the Sun was in relation to my main scopes after goto misses, but you've taken it to another level.

Forgot to add Sharpcap has a feature tracker, experimental but promising.
