Northwest Activity H-alpha 23-06-2022
We had another great imaging day in Brisbane, so I spent my day capturing the Northwest quarter of the sun. These were my best shots of the day. Taken with my Lunt 60 SS 3x Telecentric Barlow and ASI174 Camera. 23-06-2022 rs.jpg 23-06-2022.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52166897431_1b8a158a...

AR3030 90 minute animation 22-06-22
We had another great Imaging day in Brisbane, so I spent the afternoon capturing the North West Limb activity in the AR3030 area. I used my Lunt 60 SS H-alpha telescope, 2x telecentric barlow and a ASI290mm camera. the uneven illumination on some frames was caused by smoke haze from a nearby bushfir...

The Glasshouse Mountains, Queensland Australia
Today was a brilliant day for sungazing, but I promised the wife we would go out for the day, so the telescopes had a rest day. We drove about 90 mins north of Brisbane up the highway, then a steep climb up Wild Horse Mountain to the lookout that gives some if the best views in Queensland. The Mount...

Re: "The Tunnel" animation 6/3/2022
Thanks Nick, Alexandra and Hans! Hans, it takes about an hour to 2 hours of time for completion of processing an animation of that length. Most of that time is waiting for AS!3 to analyze and stack the 90 individual AVI's. That may be a bit longer or shorter depending upon the ROI used since larger...
