Re: Heads Up 19th June screenshots

Nigella, a great presentation as always. I noticed that you were using EQMOD for your telescope control so I tried it, wow what a difference. I never thought of using it for Solar imaging. Thanks for posting the screenshot it's made my imaging so much easier.

Great images Martin :bow :hamster: Have you tried adding extra space with the 5x Barlow? My Televue 2.5x Powermate had a terrible reflection in the middle for anything solar. Alfred kindly told me a fix, I had to add an extra 4cm gap between it and the camera chip and it worked, no reflection. Howe...

Cak and WL 28-05-2021

Next I dropped my Skywatcher Synscan hand controller and it stopped working. So I opened it up and lo...

Lunar Eclipse Brisbane 26-05-2021

Tonight was an interesting night imaging a lunar eclipse. I done it remotely while I sat in my study drinking coffee. Clouds were a nuisance but I managed to catch some good shots in the gaps as they passed over. The next total eclipse visible from Brisbane will be on the 3rd of March 2026. Martin 1...
