I had wondered how you had fared through Hurricane Ian. I am glad you missed the worst of it. Very nice images, as usual.

I have never seen tree frogs like those here in the NC mountains. Ours is bark or lichen colored and a bit smaller.

Alexandros, I am really surprised that adaptive optics haven't tricked down into amateur hands already. Coupling adaptive optics with lucky imaging would truly bring us up to pro standard with their chief advantage then being larger optics. But amateurs like You and Christian not to mention several ...

25x70 binos should give wonderful views! You should have no trouble seeing the umbra and penumbra around the larger spots!

My session time is from 17:30 until 17:40 UTC. Mostly cloudy skies. The temperature for this session is a warmer 65F ( 18.3C ) I can see five active regions using the Lunt 8x32 SUNoculars in white light. All four of these are numbered. One is visible in the southern hemisphere and it to is labeled. ...

Yes, the corona should be much dimmer than the chromosphere and therefore much more difficult.
