It should also be noted that the X-2.9 valuation is likely a lot lower than the flare actually produced , as the source was still behind the limb and the x-ray detectors only caught a relatively small part of the blast. Would it be lower or higher? After all some of the flare may have been obscured...

I have certainly benefited by stopping my AT72EDII down from 72mm to 40mm while imaging at 430nm and 393.3nm. Mark's advice has proven spot on.

Nice work Alexandros. I get discouraged trying to image in doublestack using my Coronado SolarMax II 90 as well. I always find it very difficult to get an evenly tuned and evenly illuminated disc. I have heard of the Antlia half nanometer CaK filter and it looks like it does very well. I think the Lunt module is about 2.5 angstroms or 1/4 nanometer bandpass and I wonder how the new Antlia 5A filter compares to it. I have a 30 angstrom ( 3nm ) CaK filter by Antlia but it shows much more photos...
