Mark,
I hope you got a view in. Thanks.
LLichter,
Welcome. The returning AR13590 under a new number is probably one of the returning active regions you see. I am glad you found use of my report.
Warren,
Maybe you should keep it up with AR13590 returning.

Thanks Stephen. I have always thought the proms imaged in K-Line to be a chromospheric phenomena and not belonging to the photosphere. Thanks for your explanations on all.
And I am certainly newer to narrowband solar than I am to white light solar and to all of the nighttime varieties.

Re: Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) from plasma filament, March 11
Stephen, I very much agree with you but one thing I have questions on. Where does a filament/prominence fit in that exceeds escape velocity and escapes the sun? Proms are an enigma, they consist of usually denser/cooler chromosphere plasma that often reaches high into the corona. Should proms/filame...

Yes, Mark. The sun has gone quieter again and my posts may seem a little misleading because most of the groups are so small, maybe just a tiny spot or two but at least there was something to seek out. If solar makes you move your plans I would say you are dedicated, but good clear skies seem so rare...

Alfred, They are definitely bang for the buck. I ended up ordering a 6" ED doublet from Astronomics but I considered the C6R for years. If it would have been just for solar I would have not bothered with a more expensive ED doublet and would have bought the C6R. You have proven what a " ch...
