Flares are rarely seen in white light but they are possible. By what I have read they are usually strong X class events.

Thanks James! Yeah, considering that I shot through clouds with a non-tracking mount I was surprised I got anything to work with! I use a non tracking mount a lot. You just have to keep the videos short to get the software to line the frames up that you use for stacking or you can take single frame...

My session time was from 13:54 until 14:28 UTC. The skies were partly cloudy with the seeing being a bit above average. Thanks Mark. Lately time has been at a premium. I just do not have enough of it!

I now have the pontoon boat in the shop. Hopefully I can get it on the water soon. There was a 32 footer at the marina. It made mine look small!

Lol. You always do nice images. As I have said before you could be a once daily GONG station! Though there is a lot of great imagers here on SolarChat I think I check for yours and Pedros the most because they are so informative.
