Perhaps the 3rd image of the 1st set is over-sharpened Mark. I do find the 2nd set a lot softer and more natural to look at though as most of the posters have commented. I will continue with both methods for the next session (which may be a while looking at the forecast). Keep the comments coming......

Well the sun was out this morning, so Alexandra and I were out early (as it has clouded over now). I managed 3 good images, but have processed the first three by sharpening in photoshop and the last 3 by using the sharpening in Autostackkert. Yes, thanks everyone for your complementary comments. I have had a look at the Crayford Focusers and agree on the two types recommended. I will probably have a look at them all at the astro show in June. The only thing I have noticed is that I will lose the mount for my spotting scope for night time...
