Luckily Paul, even though I love aeroplanes and have flown numerous of them, mine do not pollute the atmosphere to spoil the views, but I still shared your frustration. Busy airspace above France.

Thanks again Stephen I personally prefer the 6MP PGR Grasshopper set showing excellent results. In some cases only I feel that either out of focus or unstable atmospherics might have affected the results from the Apollo M-Max camera, but just my thoughts... You've done well today for the comparisons...

A superb capture and processed image Alexandros and just proves that the Lunt large scopes are excellent along with that camera.

Seeing those exposure-times are a useful guide for this bright-nebula, so thanks for sharing your work.

Of course there are also PaintShopPro programs etc, that may well do the job, as well as using Ha scopes and cameras to achieve the desired results..

ok until a breeze (or worse) picks-up and takes your scope and more with it (closer to the Sun even) ??? Might be cheap for it's intended-purpose, but even with the nice new car shown, could be an expensive paint-repair job... So in short James, cheap is usually expensive in the short or longer term...
